Upgrade Guide

This section provides comprehensive instructions for upgrading the Traceable Platform.

Overview

The upgrade process includes:

Upgrade Methods

The ClusterMgr method is the recommended approach as it upgrades both the Traceable Installer (TI) and the platform in a single operation.

UI Method

The UI method provides a visual interface for the upgrade process with more granular control over service rollouts.

Quick Start

  1. Complete all Pre-Upgrade Checks
  2. (For UI method) Download Workflow File if required
  3. Choose your upgrade method:
  4. Monitor the upgrade progress
  5. If needed, refer to Rollback Procedures

Important Notes

  • Always backup the installer state before upgrading
  • Ensure all pods are healthy before starting the upgrade
  • Have sufficient disk space available (at least 50GB free)
  • Consult with Traceable support for version-specific upgrade instructions
