Platform-Specific Guides¶
This section provides configuration guidelines specific to different Kubernetes platforms.
Overview¶
Different Kubernetes platforms have unique requirements and configurations. This section covers:
-
- Namespace resource quotas
- Limit ranges
- OpenShift-specific considerations
-
- VPC and networking requirements
- Node distribution across availability zones
- EBS volume considerations
Choosing Your Platform Guide¶
Select the guide that matches your deployment platform:
- If you're deploying on Red Hat OpenShift, follow the OpenShift Configuration guide
- If you're deploying on Amazon EKS, follow the AWS EKS Configuration guide
- For other Kubernetes platforms, refer to the general Prerequisites and Installation guides
Exposing the Platform¶
Regardless of platform, you must choose how external traffic reaches the platform (cloud load balancer, NGINX, Traefik, OpenShift Route, or Kong). See Connecting to the Traceable Platform for detailed configuration of each option.
Additional Platforms¶
For platforms not covered in this section, the general installation guidelines in the Prerequisites and Installation sections should be sufficient. If you encounter platform-specific issues, contact support@harness.io for assistance.
