Platform-Specific Guides

This section provides configuration guidelines specific to different Kubernetes platforms.

Overview

Different Kubernetes platforms have unique requirements and configurations. This section covers:

  1. OpenShift Configuration

    • Namespace resource quotas
    • Limit ranges
    • OpenShift-specific considerations
  2. AWS EKS Configuration

    • VPC and networking requirements
    • Node distribution across availability zones
    • EBS volume considerations

Choosing Your Platform Guide

Select the guide that matches your deployment platform:

Exposing the Platform

Regardless of platform, you must choose how external traffic reaches the platform (cloud load balancer, NGINX, Traefik, OpenShift Route, or Kong). See Connecting to the Traceable Platform for detailed configuration of each option.

Additional Platforms

For platforms not covered in this section, the general installation guidelines in the Prerequisites and Installation sections should be sufficient. If you encounter platform-specific issues, contact support@harness.io for assistance.
